Draught at the brewery, 4/7/18.
Soupy bronze-golden-maize. Big white head slowly fades to cover.
Doughy nose without much in the way of hops, surprisingly. Bland and full of yeast and particulate with bubble gum esters and light citrus and lemon on the edges.
Typical bubble gum-heavy yeast character in the mouth with melon, watermelon and soft, wheat-like textures. Moderately bitter with grapefruit, lemon and light pine. Yeasty but fruity and lightly juicy as it warms, on the finish with some tropical character, as well. Good dryness and carbonation with good attenuation and no booze. Yeast/particulate creating lots of blandness and a short finish, however.

4 oz. sample at the brewery. Totally hazy, bright yellow. Aroma is tropical fruit, citrus, mild yeast. Flavor is like Six Seem with a Belgian yeast. Hops dominated most of the flavor profile yet, the yeast creeps in with a few esters. ABV is pretty hidden. Honestly, it is tuff to balance a Belgian yeast strain in an IPA. The brewer did a nice job at this hybrid. A pleasant surprise.
