Can to becher pint glass.
Appearance: amber/red color with a finger's worth of white foamy head. Not much lace
Aroma: leafy & earthy chracter and caramel/toffee tones
Flavor: semi-sweet while combining the previously mentioned aromas together, mild earthy/caramel aftertaste
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable, good carbonation, nutty/leafy to caramel finish
Overall: good red ale worthy to have again.

Draught at Harry's, 3/25/22. Deep auburn-to-garnet. Clear. Thin, beige head showing low retention. Malty, not too much specialty malt/crystal malt character with an afterthought of light Christmas spice-like hops. Clean yeast, low sweetness. Softish, malty notes of toffee and hard candy with piney notes that gently balance. Great attenuation. Unexciting for sure, but well done.

Pours a great reddish amber from a can. Malty aroma and flavor, classic red ale. Good beer.

Pours clear mahogany into an English pint. White conglomerate head with good retention recedes leaving sheet lacing. Dark caramel, brown bread and mild pine aromas. Medium bodied and dry with treacle and pumpernickel upfront turning to sourdough before turning to bitter earth in the lasting finish.
