Our version of the hazy style IPA is double dry hopped with Falconer’s Flight, Amarillo, and Citra hops. These hops bring aromatics of orange, tangerine, and pineapple accompanied by flavors of tangerine, grapefruit, guava, and pineapple! This delicious unfiltered IPA is named for the strength, pride and majesty of the Native American Appaloosa horse.

Can thanks to MrsSHIG: Poured a murky bright yellow with a white head. Aroma is juicy hops, fruity, citrus. Taste is light hops, citrus, dirty. This dirt taste overwhelms the palate.

Canned 2/9/22, drunk 2/12/22. Lightly-to-moderately hazy, beeswax-golden with a large, white head showing moderate-to-low retention. Lightly juicy nose shows a bit of the Citra, but contains a good deal of sweaty C-hop, light pine resin and a bit of estery yeast and light alcohol. Malts are on the thinner side, though not quite problematically so, with an almost husky or grainy character. Gets better with warming, but then there's some stronger pine resin/acidity and light alcohol exposed by the warmth. So it's a bit of a mixed bag. Do you want it thinner and colder or softer but at the same time boozier and too acidic. Not a disaster, but very mediocre. Don't love the choice of hops here (nor do I love Falconer's Flight in anything, tbh).
