Draught, Tip Taproom, 1/13/22. Heavily hazy, bronze-brass-golden. Small, but fairly dense, white head atop. Lightly juicy, citrusy hops in the nose suggest orange/tangerine/lemon. Soft bubble gum-like esters mix with light honey-like malts to give a very straightforward, well-done, example of the NEIPA. Getting much less than usual twangy/acidic citrus from the El Dorado, and neither the mosaic nor the amarillo seem to contribute much of their usual pine/stale hop/sweat character. In short, nice job with the hops here. In the mouth it follows suit, lending soft, juicy and lightly sweet notes from hop, yeast and malt, but still shows proper attenuation and a nice lack of twang/heavy resin/pine, etc...Very nice, clean and drinkable.
