Canned, 473 ml, shared with MiroB, Zec and Luka. Dark brown with beige heard. Some chocolate, roasty, cocoa, light vegetables in aroma, watery, sweetish, quite thin.

Loving picking up occasional Tilted Barn in distro. Nice dark pour, the head decent sized at first fades to a whisper rather quickly. Nose is cocoa and ash. Tastes of almonds, cola, roast, chocolate, hay. Smooth palate and light bitterness.

Undated can, drunk 11/11/21. Not quite fully clear, cola-to-dark-amber with a dark beige head that is large and steadily fades to cover. Heavily toasted, moderately roasty malts add hazelnut, cinnamon, cola and light, almost green coffee. Some mineral, hints of honey and no alcohol or flaw. In the mouth it's light, slightly watery but still malty enough with light licorice root, vegetal notes, mint and green coffee. Spicy hops with light mineral from the yeast and lingering roast. Takes a bit of getting used to but as the palate accustoms, I really appreciate the lighter body (still plenty malty and substantial). Gets chocolatey, almost fudgey with more warming. Just an excellent, flavorful, malty, dry, crusher.

Pours mahogany tinged black into an English pint. Mocha head with medium retention recedes leaving trailing sheets. Dark chocolate, caramel and roasted nut aromas. Soft with dark roasted nuts, caramel and sweet licorice upfront turning to espresso and clove in the lasting finish. Nice.
