Heavily hazy, deep bronze golden with a firm, white head.
Nose is really interesting mix of floral and spice next to deeper lime and guava character with light melon in there, as well. Malts provide a good kiss of honey to sweeten and bring forth the juiciness while there's no alcohol or flaw.
Not very straightforward Nelson, but there's still plentiful lime-guava and a touch of deep minerality with hints of white grape. Spicy and almost pineapple sherbet-like from the Talus, but it's not the intensely cloying canned pineapple of Sabro; not quite. But mostly it's just intensely soft, malty, dry beer with tons of fruitiness, deep tropical notes and wonderfully balanced bitterness on the finish.
