Fermented 34 is our first German-style Kölsch. We're getting beautiful subtle fruit notes of apple and pear, and a soft, rounded bready flavor profile with hints of lemongrass. And at 4.5% ABV it’s the ultimate summer quencher.

Undated can drunk 8/27/21.
Good clarity, with a bit of chill haze. Bright lemon with a small, moderately-well retained, white head.
Big fruity notes don't quite scream classic kolsch, but perhaps it's like the classic yeast profile on steroids. Certainly backed by a lot of hops, but they are peppery/spicy and feel complementary and authentic to style. No alcohol or flaw. Some solid, bready-to-honey-like malts to balance.
Very hoppy for the style - going so far as to be almost fatiguing by the end of the can. Malts are soft and well-attenuated with plentiful cookie and bread-like character to soak up the hop bitterness. Tons of pear-like ester is interesting and enjoyable and works just fine here. No alcohol or flaw noted.
