Canned 5/26/21, drunk 8/2/21.
Shaking the sediment up gently, it pours a not-cloudy but more translucent, canteloup-deep maize golden with a quickly dissipating, white head.
Very fruity in the nose without any excessive clove or even banana (though it's certainly present). Peach and apricot elevate while lightly honey-tinged malts balance. Clean and seemingly well-attenuated.
Really fruity in the mouth. Nice to see a more fruit forward hefe instead of the typical heavy clove-bubble gum of most. Softer and with sumptuous, honey-drenched malts. Still enough phenolic acidity on the finish to balance but it's a vague flavor rather than an astringent, dominating clove. Not heavy on the banana either, which is nice. Light, clean, fruity and refreshing. Lovely.
