Pours murky gold into a tulip. White soapy head with little retention recedes to mottle surface. Dusty lemon joy aromas. Thick and soft with sweet lemon muffin and apricot upfront turning to hot lemon joy and pith in the medium length finish.

Can not for the life of me find a can date on this one, but I purchased it recently from the cooler, drunk 7/30/21. Sunset-orange-golden, quite hazy, though maybe not quite soupy. Massive, well-retained, white head atop. Pine and lemon-orange with biscuity malts and very fruity esters smells good. No big bubble gum or twangy/resinous notes from the hops, nor any booziness. Caramel, pine, honey and lemon give a pretty straightforward, somewhat more bitter version of a more Vermont-like NEIPA. Soft, malty body shows pretty good attenuation, though there's still plenty of malt sugar to balance. A little loose/thin on the end and there's a touch of booziness and either phenolic or hop astringency. A lot of lemon and pine but also some enjoyable apricot and marmalade. A bit sweet up front and a bit too bitter on the back end, but it shows promise. Would like to try it from the brewery and not contract brewed at Riverwalk, who I've never been impressed with.

Can from tfontana, thanks for the trade! Lightly hazy dark straw color with a good sized bubbly white head that persists. Orange grapefruit and lemony citrus with specs of earthy pine with sweet bready maltiness. Canned in DEC this isn't horribly fresh but really could be more hop forward!

Can (12/10/20) pour from Fort Point Market. It's a cloudy dark yellow-light orange with fine particulate matter, trace sparkle, finger-plus width foamy white head with fair retention and decent soapy lacing. Aroma is mix of tropical fruit and apricot/stone fruits. Taste follows aroma along with tangerine but there is an alcohol astringency presence here (fades as it sits) that detracts. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with thick texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste with only very mild bitterness. Overall, some very nice elements but some rough edges that need to be cleaned up, too.

16 oz. can in a trade with tfontana. Thanks Tom! Born on 12/10/20. Aroma is mild grapefruit with a lemon peel. Maybe a touch of tropical fruit in the flavor but to me it’s mostly citrus fruits. Bitterness is moderate. Alcohol is mostly hidden. Very respectable!
