Born from the hard-working, no excuses community of Hudson, Massachusetts, Bone City Lager is a tribute to those who grew up in any small town that has seen change-the good, the bad, and the ugly. From outlaws and biker bars, to small business prevailing over corporate takeover, there’s a little Hudson in all of us somewhere. We hope you remember your small town while enjoying our refreshing lager, and maybe we’ll see you in our town some day. We’ll be here.

Draught at their beer garden, 7/24/21.
Deep, copper-golden, good clarity, with a small, white head that shows moderate retention.
Malty nose is clean and sweet with excellent bread and honey notes and ample, but not overdone, crisp hop notes on the finish adding earth, tea and light citrus. No alcohol noted.
Soft, malty, substantial and well-attenuated with tons of honey, bread and biscuit (but not too much so on the biscuit/bread). Hops add a pleasing but mild bitterness that gently balances and there is a lovely house yeast character adding mineral. No alcohol or flaw noted. Crazy to see another brewer using Jack's Abby house lager yeast, but I suppose when it is that good (and it is), why not?
