375mL bottle fresh from brewery on 6/25/21, drunk 7/2/21. Bottle gushes everywhere immediately, though I saw it coming and moved it to the floor at least. The remainder is a now hazy, light caramel-orange with a fizzling, off-white head. Graham cracker, honey, vanilla and light vegetal notes (not unpleasant ones) give an odd, if not quite malty start to the nose. Some tequila-like pepper/heat with really no sign whatsoever of the guava (faint trace on the end, i guess). Smells mostly like a Barrel Aged BSA.Soft and sweet in the mouth with plentiful tequila character adding spice, vegetal notes and light alcohol dryness (but not sharp/hot notes). Pink guava can be faintly noted on the end, if looked for and only if you see that it's supposedly in this. Very malty with plentiful honey-like sweetness bordering on light caramel. Mostly tight carbonation. Interesting stuff, and quite nice if you look at it as a Belgian Strong Golden Ale.
