Can shared at the June DCBeer share. Poured a pale golden color. Flavor was delicate with light grain, a touch of sweetness, and a clean finish. Subtle and pleasantly easy to drink.

Pours hazy gold into a tulip. Bright white head with excellent retention recedes leaving spider lacing. Lemon and hay aromas. Crisp with sweet lemon poppy seed and straw front to back. Medium length dry hay finish.

Draught at the brewery, 6/25/21.
Mostly clear, straw golden with a small, but fairly well-retained, white head.
Liquid hay in a glass! Wow. That just smells like someone took freshly cut hay and blended up. Biscuit, cracker, grass, herbs, pepper and just the right amount of malt sweetness to balance all of the fun yeast character. And importantly, it's not full of messy phenol/ester. Really encouraging to see that this is not a banana/clove brewery.
Soft and dry in the mouth but with a great malt depth and gentle sweetness to balance the rustic grain and gentle ester character. Great attenuation and no messy/dominant phenols. Excellent, excellent stuff and a ton of flavor for its size.
