Reviewed from notes.
Can to tulip.
Appearance: yellow color with a semi-transparent note to it with a two and a half fingers of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: sweet wheaty to funky edged subtle sour and grainy tones with some mineral water and herbal to dusty sided grassiness; light lemony tart character; maybe some crackery malts
Flavor: does a nice job of combining the prior noted aromas to a semi-crisp tart and funky sweet to lemony quality; finishes crisp with herbal and grainy-like with lemon tones
Texture: light to medium bodied, semi-sessionable; slight smoothness but with a touch of dryness
Overall: nicely done saison with a lot going on, and I believe I would come back to this.

Pours hazy gold into a tulip. Bright white head with medium retention recedes to hug rim. Sweet yeast and citrus aromas. Crisp with funky sour banana skin and hot lemon peel front to back. Lasting hot dusty tropical fruit skin finish.

12 oz. Aroma has notes of dough, pepper, wheat, dusty basements, old books. Pours hazy pale golden with a one finger soapy white head with decent retention. Taste is a little sweet and spicy with faint tartness, finishing dry. Highly carbonated.

Can from MrBarleywine, thanks for the hookup. Dark yellow in color with a bit of haze and a thin white head that slowly dissipates. Spicy earthy cereal and malt with some earthy spice to counter.

Canned 12/30/20, drunk 6/19/21. Immensely carbonated at over 6 months old with a clear, straw-golden body topped by a massive, well-retained, snow-white head. Lovely, mineral-rich house saison yeast with little/no hop character. Just a dusting of herbs. Malts/wheat seem light, crackery, not too apparent in the nose. No flaw or alcohol. Low fruitiness, with some light-to-moderate acidity on the finish but no bacterial/brett character, it seems. Yum, soft and rich with a deep, honey-like maltiness, interesting cereal grain character with light, lemon-pepper hop notes dotting the palate. Tight carbonation and great attenuation with balancing acidity on the finish. Really lovely Belgian saison and I think Ernest would approve the lack of any American hop characteristics (no lime notes!).
