Bottle best before Aug 23, 2024, drunk 12/18/22. Clear ruby-amber. Off-white head to ring. Well the nose is the least offensive of these 3 miserably awful terrible, shamefully-poorly-brewed beers. Least offensive in the sense that it smells like Creme Brulee and isn't overdone with some nasty spice or cheap fruit syrup. Not that it smells like beer, malt, barrel character or anything else interesting. But inoffensive, I suppose. In the mouth it tastes like they finished brewing the beer and after secondary fermentation took 5 tons of demerara sugar and dumped it in to the batch. Just punishingly, cloyingly, syrupy, revoltingly sweet. It's shocking that these were released for sale to the public.

Brown with an orange hue and a medium sized foamy tan head. Sweet with vanilla, caramel, brown sugar and a bit of booziness. Long finish. Moderately full bodied.

12 ounce bottle - barrel-aged mix pack 2022 - lightly hazy amber with minimal lace - gotta hand it to them, it really does taste like crème brûlée up front, but ultimately that buttery, custard, burn caramel character reminds me too much of the flaws generates by diacetyl than something to be desired - so ultimately this kinda tastes like an infected barleywine - man, what a disappointing mix pack.
