500ml bottle kindly shared by Finn at a rating session with him, Synny, and lmojoh. Stable pearl white head, rings of lace down the glassware, coal black body. Attractive aromas of lightly roasted chocolate malts joined by ripe, dark fruits. Well blended taste character of resinous hops, bread, and chocolate malts. Roasted bitter finish, long-lived. Fine bodied. Pleasing. (Tromsø, 13.04.2023).

500 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 9.0%. Nearly black colour, moderate beige head. Aroma of roast malts and piney and grapefruity American hops. The flavour is very well balanced between the malts and the hops, a slight sweetness but not too much, roasty notes with hints of coffee, dark chocolate and liquorice, followed by a distinct grapefruity and piney bitterness in the finish and aftertaste. Jolly good beer!

Bottle. Looks clear in the glass, dark reddish brown in color, with a dense finger-thick beige head. Some lacing. The aroma has lots of pine cones and resin, as well as dark chocolate, coffee and some licorice. Some dark dried fruit too. It's full-bodied, warming and softly carbonated, with a decent bitterness. Roasted malts, coffee, chocolate, dark dried fruit and some licorice in the flavor, along with piney, resiny hops and a hint of grapefruit juice. Some peppery notes too. Lasting finish. A bit heavy on the malts and a tad thin, but a decent one indeed. 221231
