Beachcomber is a collaboration with our great friends Creature Comforts down in Athens, GA. Blake came up to St Louis this summer for our annual Midwest Belgian Beer Festival, and we brewed this Tiki-inspired Saison to express our mutual love for the beloved art of Tiki drinks. Brewed with Pilsner, Spelt and Vienna malts, we threw in fresh Ginger and freshly ground Allspice to the boil, and finished it off with a nice helping of Mosaic hops in the whirlpool. Fermented with our house saison strain, and Red Rio Grapefruit, we then steeped the finished beer on hibiscus flowers. Finally, we packaged conditioned Beachcomber with a favorite strain of Brettanomyces. Pairs well with Tiki-mugs, punch bowls, and bamboo bars.

Keg at the hop locker 3. A mostly clear golden orange coloured pour with a a lasting frothy white head. Aroma is nice light funk saison yeast, watermellon, apple, grape. Flavour is composed of tangy lemon, white grape, little musty, frothy saison. Palate is semi sweet. Light tangy, highish carbonation.. Nice.

Keg at HL3, 07/09/18. Lightly hazed golden orange with a big old off white head. Nose is lIght brett, funk, peach, pissy tarte fruit rinds, grass. Taste comprises tangy tropical fruits, straw, light breads, grass, orange peel, on the turn melon, light funk. Med bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a tarte citric wash. Solid bretted saison.

HL3. Keg. Hazy apricot gold beer, decent white head. Palate is light, mildly dry and finely crisp. Light malts. Decent and not overpowering bretty funk. Mild seltzer. Tangy generic fruits underneath. Light minerally crisp finish. Tidy.

Tap@Fementoren, Copenhagen - golden pour with white head. Sweet fruit and malty with some light dried and citrus fruit, straw, yeast, touch of caramel sweetness, medium to light body, sweet finish.

Hazy Yellow colour with medium head.Aroma is fresh spicey of coriander and yeast nice fruity and well balanced with good spicey finish.
