Bottle (11/27/20) pour--thanks, Chalumeaux! It's a hazy dark red-brown with thin ring of beige head with no lacing. Aroma is nice bourbon, sweet malt, toffee, oak. Taste is strong toffee, bourbon, vanilla, dark fruit, milder butterscotch. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, well balanced and barrel does a nice job of cutting the sweetness.

Bottled 11/27/20, drunk 11/12/22. Dark ebony-mahogany. Tan head at ring. Nose is intense bourbon spice, chocolate, vanilla, caramel... Sweet malt, caramel vanilla, brown sugar, dark chocolate. Whew, that's a fine beer. No booze.

500 ml. bottle. Thank you TJ for the Barrel society share. 11/27/20. Aroma is soft toffee, vanilla and oak. Flavor is layered. Oak, vanilla, English toffee, apple wisps and subtle smoke. What is impressive after all these years is… they continue to hide the alcohol. Top tier without a question.
11/27/20 790/1125 aroma is brown sugar, dark fruit, oak. Taste is sublime, sweet but not cloying, nice warming after the sip. ABV is totally hidden. So good.
