Leeway begins with a base of Connecticut grown wheat and barley and undergoes a primary fermentation with our mixed culture in stainless steel followed by a stopover in one of our oak foeders. Thoughtful additions of sea salt, freshly-ground coriander and a blend of citrus (pink lemon, grapefruit and lime) are added along the way. Leeway: Mandarin features Golden Nugget, Pixie and Page Mandarins - varieties prized for their mellow acidity and intense juiciness.

Canneed 5/26/22, drunk 9/22/22. Clear, pale, white gold. Small, fizzy, white head. Very citrusy nose has intense lemon pulp and clementine. Light lactic acid and crackery malts. Clean. Soft and citrusy with plentiful salinity. Light honey, white bread, lactic acid and good attenuation. Lots of flavor intensity for its size and its clean.
