Detroit taproom draught, 9/9/22. Lightly hazy, pale brass-bronze. Small, white head of low retention. Soft and mild with no overt adjuncts discernible. I THINK I can sense some basil and tomato, but almost certainly that's the power of suggestion. What it does have is mild-to-moderate, even, lactic acid and moderate, well-developed brett with pear, lemon, black pepper and soft, supportive malts and oak tannin. Pear, black pepper, strong Brett hickory-like character and a soft, supportive malt with good attenuation. No big sourness, just tart and fruity with mild citrus-like notes and really not much of the adjunct; certainly nothing weird or disruptive. No alcohol or flaw. Just feels like a well-aged, oaked sour with good balance.

Not sure I get the adjuncts but the barrel comes through really nicely. Oaky lemony funk.
