For 2022, we once again teamed up with our friend Kyle at Horus Aged Ales to explore this innovative new ingredient, crafting an amplified version of bierpop! DIPA with elevated hopping rates and increased ABV, Big bierpop! Big bierpop! pours a hazy, deep yellow and wastes no time presenting vibrant notes reminiscent of a pineapple and mango smoothie. The initial burst of tropicality clears the way for supporting aromas of summer picnic watermelon, peach rings, and citrus slushy. A generous portion of flaked wheat lays the groundwork for a fluffy mouthfeel, allowing bierpop! to finish medium-bodied with just a touch of candied sweetness.
STYLE: Double IPA
ABV: 8.8%
HOPS: Mosaic, Cryo Pop
MALT: American 2 Row Barley, Flaked Wheat

Dank pineapple, mango, melon, pithy grapefruit. An abundance of tropical notes, though a dry, hoppy finish. Watching MNF and Extraction. Not a brilliant script, however, a tremendous amount of action. Thanks Collin! HMS!

Pours hazy mango into a tulip. White head with medium retention recedes leaving soapy sheets. Tangerine and pineapple aromas. Stringent with sweet lemon joy and pineapple upfront turning to tropical fruit skin and peel in the dry, medium length finish.

Pours super hazy gold with a small gead.Nose shows intense passion fruit, lychee, pineapple, melon, mango. Pretty much a pavlova.Flavour include more passion fruit, some pine, a guava sweetness, heavy clean malt, and a whack of resinous hops in the finish.

Fenway draught, 8/18/22. Glowing lemon-blonde. Small, white head clings to edge. Juicy citrus, heavy spiciness, some light white bread/sugar and maybe a bit of white grape. Not resinous nor any alcohol or weird yeast. Sour citrus, punchy/twangy hop with lingering pithy astringency. Texture is great, attenuation and maltiness great but I just can't stand this sour/astringent hop character that seems to be in a lot of their stuff lately. It doesn't get any better as it warms. Hard to finish.
