Single from Churchkey. Pint glass at home. Hazy honey gold pour. Strong, off-white, lumpy head. Herbal, spiced, floral, very Wit-like nose. Bittersweet herbal, grape ale, wax, chewy grain, lingering clove. Fuzzy, waxy, yeasty texture, a bit of heat. Just a little too heavy. Good-ish.

Light honey tang, and some florals, raw grain. Golden pour with fluffy initial head. Light tang in the finish. Can.

750mL bottled July 22, 2021, drunk 8/8/22. Clear, bright marigold-honey with deep bronze hues and a creamy, well-retained, off-white head. Oh yeah, that's bright and even, with mineral, soft, understated pepper phenols and some zesty, lightly juicy lemon-like acidity. Really nice strength of aroma with rustic grains and supportive maltiness. Soft and malty with tons of nuttiness, pepper and a burst of lemon-like acidity and lightly spicy phenolics through the middle, ending malty, soft, mineral-rich and with light acidity. I don't know that I love the bee pollen nuttiness but otherwise, this is interesting and extremely well-done with great yeast expression.

Pours deep hazy gold into a tulip. Bright white head with excellent retention conglomerates as it recedes leaving scant trailing sheets. Sweet orange marmalade aromas. Spritzy with sweet meadow, hay, earthy marshmallow and honey front to back and into the lasting earthy tree bark finish.
