Taproom draught, 8/6/22. Moderately hazy, lemon-to-light-copper. Small, white head, moderate retention. Smells sweaty, corny, funky. Light citrus on the very end. Weird. Punch of almost medicinal-level bitterness/astringency announces the hops. Soft, thick, sluggish body isn't so much sweet as it is syrupy. Lemon, leaf, earth, pine, all sorts of shit. Yet somehow it's compelling and not resinous. The bitterness doesn't linger. Good balance, attenuation, not boozey. Lots of weird compounds in here from the old hops. Corn...sweat..medicine. definitely a mess but I don't hate it (but I'm glad I only got a 4oz).
