awesome lager aroma, super crisp, just enough finer flowery and hay like notes to keep it interesting and a very slightly grassy sort of earthy note to base it all. All those notes that are usually flaws or unorderly combine here to a fantastic whole that is both complex and super yummy.
flavor is dry, slightly sweet grassy, slightly crisp malty, super quenching. REALLY good lager.

Charlton draught, 6/28/22. Clear golden-honey. Large, well-retained, white head. Nose is all malt and yeast. Big honey with light sourdough and biscuit. Long mineral finish with soft hop notes of apricot and spruce. This kind of makes me mad how bad today's American-hopped beers are. This is so delicately done and the Simcoe comes off as apricot, mint and nectarine. Absolutely lovely and nothing like the over-hopped garbage that are contemporary Simcoe beers. I seriously forgot this hop could be good. Just need to be extremely light with it. Soft and malty, well-attenuated with big biscuit and sour dough. Lingering apricot, lemon and fresh herb. Lovely.

Pours a slightly hazy, golden yellow, with mid-sized head. Aroma is very floral, with citrus and hops dominating. Flavor is citrus, pine, straw, some bread. Crisp, clean mouthfeel.
