Brewery draught, 6/9/23. Clear, blonde-brass with a hint of deep copper. Small, white head, low-to-moderate retention. Soft, understated hop and malt. Some hints of sourdough with gentle herb and pepper. Strong mineral with some biscuit on the finish. Soft and malty, but not too soft with excellent malt depth and attenuation. Just a hint of medium malt with lots of crisp yeast and gently herbal hops. Flawless.

2,800th US rating! Pours a nice light clear gold from a tap. Grassy aroma and flavor, maybe a bit more like hay, some noble hop notes but with a nice fruitiness. Good beer.

I’ve always thought festbiers fit spring. Pretty colored golden orange and puffy white head. Nose is faint cracker and caramel. Tastes of floral, caramel, water crackers, some biscuit. Crisp. Pleasant.
