Dark, matte cola pour, nearly still into some Torst stemware. Half off bottles for happy hour! So dense & fruity upfront smoke, peppery, raisin, burnt shellfish, kinda odd but inviting. Semi-sweet, incredibly smokey, smoked marrow, mellow char, concentrated wok oil, oily dark chocolate & motor oil, sort of questionably fusel aftertaste. Sooty, chimney caked follow through that works. Fucking great.

330mL bottle, best before end of 2028, at Tørst, 4/29/23. Smells like, get this, Laphroaig. But a solid dose of malt behind it (caramel, raisin, fudge). Mild Belgian yeast qualities (fruity esters). Not boozey. Oh wow, that's wacky. Up front it's very thick, BA imperial stout, but quickly adds drying Amaro notes (is that the Scotch??). Sweet, thick, rich, very herbal. Like a shot of Amaro. Smokey, not boozey. Bizarre. I like it but I also love Amaro and Laphroaig. Love the viscosity here and balance.
