ShangriLa is a pale lager brewed using Marris Otter malts and hopped using Nelson Sauvin and Hallertau Blanc hops. After the boil it rests in our copper coolship for 1 hour and is then transferred over our baudelot cooler. ShangriLa undergoes a cool open fermentation using a classic German lager yeast. It is cellared for several months prior to packaging.

Can, many thanks to vino! Unclear golden color with white head. Aroma is fresh exotic fruits, very delicately perfumey, not too overdone. Taste is exotic fruits, grapes, pretty delicate, really nice Sauvignon-Blanc-style, a bit powdered sugar. Oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very tasty!

Can drunk 4/15/23. Clear light bronze-amber, small, white head. Light hopping with white wine and herbs. Interesting choice of hops here but neither too heavy. Rich malts with bread and biscuit. Clean, malty, good minerality. Malty, rich, well-attenuated. Soft and with caramrl-accented honey. White wine, hint of tropical fruit and good bitterness. Balanced, clean and flavorful.
