Bottle. Opaque pitch black color, virtually no head. Aroma is malts, soy sauce. Flavor is malts, soy sauce, bitter, brown malts. Lingering malty bitterness with soy sauce. Thick texture, full body, decent to medium carbonation. Quite insane. 8-8,5-8,5-10-8,5

pitch black color. Nice dark fruit, dark chocolate, oak, bourbon, very sharp and dry nose, very similar to other side projects. Almost no carbonation, booziness derived from the bourbon. Sharp as fuck. Still very drinkable for the style. Hard to believe this is world class but still amazing beer

375ml bottle purchased at Ale Arsenal as the first event of SF Beer Week. What a legendary tasting this was! Massively complex beer that marries well. Overt chocolate, treacle, booze and vanilla. Pours black with deep brown highlights, and basically no head. Flavor is chocolate, dark fruit, whiskey, boozy and malt. Viscous mouthfeel. This was incredibly complex and enjoyable. Opened up nicely as well to give more layered flavors and aroma.
Thick and syrupy, somewhat boozy. Toffee, vanilla, dark chocolate after warming up. Bourbon, some licorice. Rich and smooth, excellent.

Bottle, 375 ml, shared with Luka and Miro B. Black with almost no head. Dense chocolate, cocoa, fudge, lots of barrel, intensive bourbon, moderate sweetness, oily. Getting better as it warms up.
