Cellar draught, 3/28/23. Looks like good clarity, dark ebony with a burnt umber head, small, low to moderate retention. Rich malt and soft but intense Weller. Not my fav bourbon but there's no sharpness whatsoever, which is my biggest qualm with the 107, at least. Never had the twelve but it sure smells good. Pepper, smoke, rich graphite/lead some intense blueberry concentrate. Milk chocolate and no alcohol. Wow very unusual in the mouth. Coconut from the barrel with rich pepper, almost a mezcal spice, with dry and salty char. Huge, chewy, wheated viscosity but high attenuation leaving lots of dryness and lingering whiskey dryness as well. After just complaining about Shin Shin being too sweet, this is slightly too dry. But they're such nitpicks. Really interesting strong salinity.
