Gruit - Yarrow, Bog Myrtle, Labrador Tea. Tangy, earthy fruits dominate the aroma with notes of orange peel, cranberry, and black tea fading to subtle hints of tree bark and fresh earth in the background. This intriguing aroma pairs naturally with a tart, semi-sweet, bready flavor profile that finishes on a pleasantly dry note.

8 oz draft. Light copper color. Aroma is tea leaves, yarrow heavy. The flavor is not astringent or overly sour. Very interesting and it is a gruit!!

Brewery draught, 7/5/24. Clear, medium amber. Medium-sized, beige head, modest retention. Some lactic/milky character with bright, almost tart yarrow and juicy-peppery elderflower. Some tea, even, with substantial malt to easily balance. Caramelly-minty-tea. Not bitter, but not too sweet. Licorice and tea throughout. Hints of bright yarrow on the edges. Very soft and malty, good attenuation. Appreciate the lack of astringent bitterness, though I'm used to it in this style. Very approachable.

Brewery draught, 2/1/23. Mostly clear, brass-golden. Small, off-white head showing moderate-to-low retention. Juicy, tart, acidic and sweet all represented in the herb/spice blend. Malts show white bread, biscuit and light honey and balance pretty nicely. Soft, malty, good attenuation with tons of random floral, peppery and earthy spice. Lots of earthiness on the finish with more lavender-like floral notes. Lingering honey and biscuit, as well.
