Commonplace is our Cream Ale. Brewed entirely with barley and corn grown and malted by our friends at Thrall Family Malt in Connecticut, it represents a sense of place in a clean and articulate way.

Pouring a beautiful golden orange color into the glass, it carries mild notes of corn and barley with a potent classic hop background representing Mount Hood and Callista hops with grace.

Commonplace is a quiet beer lovingly imparted with regional character and carries the same heartfelt intent of our core offerings. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Part of my crispy mixed case. Nose is strong barley and herbs. Pronounced barley, corny, and quite herbal. Too flavorful for cream ale perhaps. Smooth creamy palate on style though. Enjoyable

Can pour at Tewks, 1/22/23. Clear, light brassy-golden. Quickly dissipating, white head. Really nice mix of corn, barley and fresh herbs. No sharp/waxiness that you often get in cream ales. Indeed, very clean, well-lagered, mild but flavorful notes of creamy, sweet, nutty corn and honey-like base malt. Fresh, flavorful herbal hops add just a touch of bitterness allowing the malts to do most of the work here. Immaculately clean and highly refreshing with good malt depth and attenuation.

Pours a very light, herbal tea color, with minimal head. Aroma is grass and barley. Flavor follows. Pretty dry, with crisp, clean mouthfeel.
