F: thin, pale tanned, quick gone. C: dark brown with dark red against the light, clear. A: malty, caramel, bit herbal, bit brown sugar, bit dark fruits. T: malty, caramel, grassy, light sugary, hint of fruits, drinkable and that’s all, as a Christmas beer it is for me quite strange idea, medium body and carbonation, 33cl bottle from Cora Woluwe-Saint-Lambert in Brussels.

Bottle shared in London - big thanks to Dave. Pours clear reddish brown with a small, creamy tan head. Simple bready malts in the snout, brown bread, berries. Light to medium sweet flavour with hints of cardboard, berries, raisins, low bitterness. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish, with more simple brown bread, dried berries and raisins, more nimble bitterness. Fun, if a bit simple.

Bottle shared at Leightons place. Thanks! A clear brown copper coloured pour with a halo of beige head. Aroma is semi sweet, brown sugars, jammy fruits,. Light wood. Flavour is composed brown sugars, toast, jammy fruits, thin.. Palate is semi sweet, thin, chalky, moderate carbonation.

Bottle from Smatch, Wiltz, Luxembourg. Pours chestnut brown, with a small off-white head. Aroma of malt, spices, dark fruit, toffee, chocolate. Medium plus sweetness, light bitterness. Medium body, sticky texture, average to soft carbonation. Dry and slightly medicinal finish.

Dunkel bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit einer geringen beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr malzig, reife Früchte und Hopfen. Geschmack sehr malzig, etwas Röstmalz, reife Früchte, Karamell, leicht metallisch hopfig.

Thanks to kevnic2008 for that one! Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass dark brown, small head. Starts fine malty, warming, light alcoholic touch, some earthy notes. Not too roasty. Light fruity hints of plum. Finish well balanced, warming-malty. Nice!

Bottled 330ml. -Nice darker amber coloured, medium sized pale beige head, caramel in the nose. Sweet malty, light grainy and pretty strong hay with notes of caramel. Discreet touch of spices in rather sweet malty finish.
