A farmhouse-inspired rustic lager made with local grain and malts from Blue Ox Malthouse, Valley Malt and Aurora Mills. A healthy helping of earthy and spicy Czech Saaz hops provides balance to a bready and lightly toasted malt profile.

Canned 10/27/22, drunk 1/15/23. Clear amber. White head at cover. Fresh, floral hops and rustic grains with light mineral and fruit. Very clean, seemingly dry. Soft, malty, dry with just enough specialty malt to add complexity without taking the emphasis off the pale malts and yeast. Hops are pleasingly bitter up front but relax through middle, the beer ending malty/grainy. Hint of caramel, lemon with good graininess and light honey.

Can at home watching a weird film on prime. Clear amber pour and sudsy head that dissipates. Nose is toasty and spicy. Tastes peppery, earthy, toast, caramel, herbal. Lively body. Chewy.
