Poured from 500mL bottle (batch #3; bottled 03.2024; 13.2% abv). Very dark brown with very minimal beige head. Nice dark fruits on the nose, the bourbon element is feint in the background, light booziness, a bit thin bodied. Okay. Enjoying it more as it warms up (+0.1).

02/2023 bottling. Full body, low to none carbo. High sweetness, med bitterness, med-light warmth. Alco where? Barely warming. Loads of milk choco, med-high toff. Med bourbony woody presence. Delicious, decadent, not the most complex, but very tasty.

4 oz. pour on tap at Barreled Souls. Virtually opaque dark brown w/garnet hues, no ring, no lacing. Aroma strong dark fruit/cherry (borderline medicinal) over caramel & bourbon.Taste strong sweet caramel, cherry over bourbon. Smooth texture, full body, fin taste.

A bottle opened at Ambasada thanks to Severinac, shared with Marko and him. Dark brown, small head. Aroma is dried fruits at first, molasses, dates, alcohol, cognac, solvent. Sweet, smooth, caramel, toffee, dried fruit, raisins flavour. Smooth, creamy, not too sweet, balanced. Strong, slightly boozy.

Bottled at Ambasada, courtesy of Severinac somehow, with Krpan, Hrabren and others. Huge aroma, well balanced, woody, caramel, raisins, hazelnut, dried apricot, peach, sweetish, light vanilla, light orange touches. Lean, lighter than expected smooth, dry taste, caramelly, fruity notes, light alcohol, lightly tart notes, well hidden alcohol, actually quite lovely!

500 ml bottle. Aroma has notes of coconut, wood, vanilla, dates, plums, sherry, cashew brittle. Pours very dark brown with a one finger beige head that falls into a ring within a minute. Taste is moderately sweet with some light bitterness around the edges, and some savoriness with flavors of the aroma descriptors; really nice bourbon barrel notes mingling with typical barleywine fruity esters and caramel maltiness.

4 oz draft. Deep brown color. Aroma is bourbon on top of raisins and English toffee. That is some sweet, SWEET nectar. Rich toffee, dark fruit underneath a rich bourbon character. Alcohol is well restrained. DAMN! You almost can’t get better than this for a BA barley wine.

Bottle from John, much obliged, 7/27/23. Rating #10900! Pours a murky, almost muddy looking, brown color with a thin, light brown head. Sweet caramel / toffee, whiskey, dark fruit, and wood. Tons of flavor. Quite good.
