Bottled. Hazy goldeny orange colour with a thin white foamy head. Aroma is bananas, some spices, caramel, some dried fruits and mild alcohol to it. Flavour is bananas, spices, sweet banana bread, ripe and dried fruits to it. Not very dubbel like, more a Belgian Pale Ale.

500ml bottle. Cloudy, dark amber colour with small to average, thick, fluffy-creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, off-white head. Fruity and malty aroma, notes of dried fruit, resin, yellow apple, minimally sweaty overtones. Taste is minimally sweet malty, fruity and spicy yeasty, hints of dried fruit, raisin, yellow apple, a peppery touch; minimally watery passages, even a bit anaemic overall. Rather light, undercomplex, restricted.

Bottle from the Brewery online shop. Pours hazy golden with a thin white head. Aromas of light banana, spice and caramel. Taste has more esters, sweet bread, caramel and ripe fruit. Not really a dubbel in my book, but nice enough.

Bottle from Merchants 1688, Lancaster. Reddish orange, slightly fluorescent, hazy, mostly flat. Hazelnut and orange peel aroma with notes of candy sugar and sweet spice. Taste is sweet with nutmeg and cloves alongside dried citrus peel and more hazelnut. I want to like it but it's far too sweet for me.
