Canned 330ml. -Courtesy of Marko, shared with him & Hrabren. Pitch black coloured, small to medium sized brownish head that went away fast, caramel and light coffee in the nose. Roasted malt, caramel, coffee, notes of alcohol and wood with light salty touch in the finish.

Can from Valhalla Prague shared with H&O. Pitch black body, tiny off-white head. Huge aroma, bit roasted brown sugar, caramel, some woody notes, coffee. Lean, smooth, bit dry taste, pillowy cakey maltiness, chocolate & coffee, sourish, light warmth, more sourness than I expected and hoped for. Decent.

0.33 l can shared with Ogi and Marko, thanks. Dark brown to black, brown head. Aroma is chocolate, caramel and wood. Some alcohol, some dark fruit and carob. Smooth, medium body, some tart berries, caramel, wood, leather, chocolate and burnt toast. Some saltiness, some tartness, some sweetness, some warmth. Finishes medium dry.

0,33 boks fra VP Kvaddå, delt hjemme med Daglig Leder på vår 33 års bryllupsdag: brunsvart med ok skum. Raffinert aroma og enda bedre smak med mørke karamellsjokolader, nytraktet luxuskaffe tilsatt et par dråper bourbon, hint av salt og i det hele en suverent balansert nytelse. Den friske, syrlige kaffesmaken har et element av bjørnebær i seg. Gratulerer med dagen, Kitty!

Sort med brun fyldig, høy topp som daler sakte, blir hengende på glasset. Aroma; bourbon, fatlagret, malt, sjokolade, mørk sirup, kvernet kaffe, mørke frukter, belgisk sjokolade, vanilje. Smak; vanilje, lakris, plomme, kaffe, bourbon, eik, sirup, melkesjokolade, nøtter. Silkemyk munnfølelse. Smaksrik, fyldig, balansert. Langvarig, kraftig ettersmak. Spandert av Jip. Delt med Leif, Jip og Tiina.

Can. A more or less pitch black beer, though with a tendency towards dark brown, might be the strong autumn sun causing that. A dense finger-thick light tan head sits patiently on top. Some curtains. The aroma is a bit boozy at first, but after a couple of minutes it's well reduced, making room for a delicious coffee smell, caramel sauce, roasted malt notes and some coconut. Some licorice and wood. It's full-bodied and warming, very smooth on the palate, and rather sweet, yet with a decent bitterness. As in the aroma, the flavor starts of with coffee, and stays on that path all the way, still giving room for roasted malts, dark chocoloate, booze, molasses, caramel sauce and alcohol. Some coconut and oaked hints too. Everlasting finish. Really nice this one, but... The boozyness from the bourbon barrels shines through a bit too much, and I find it a bit too sticky sweet. And yet another but... It's f'in' delicious anyway. 240916
