Malty, fruity and herbal Fine carbonation level and an ok balanced sweetness Fruity, bready, herbal/grassy and caramel malty flavor American? Bottle, courtesy of Gunnfryd. A gusher with a huge, creamy tan head all over my floor. Not much aroma here, slightly sour infection mostly. Taste is just unpleasant harsh and bitter. Burn them witches.

500 ml bottle, as Kvernafossen American Ale Amber, from Coop Extra Øvre Årdal. ABV is 4.7%. Reddish amber colour, huge off-white head. Overcarbonated. Aroma of moderately roast malts, some piney and fruity hops too. Fizzy mouthfeel. The flavour has distinct notes of amber malts with some roast, and piney hops. A slight sweetness, but lacks fruitiness. Moderate bitterness. Not the worst from Kvernafossen, after all.

Nice slightly bubbly-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet grainy, wet grass, wet grain, leafs, wet hops, butterscotch, hay, winegum, weeds. Taste is slightly sour-ish grassy, wet hay, wet grass, grain, minerals, leafs, cereal, weeds. Little bitterness, watery mouthfeel. Meh!
