That sense of dread is creeping down your spine. The only thing that can alleviate it is settling down with this luxuriant Imperial Porter.
With rich, dark chocolate, sweet, sticky maple and decadent nutty pecan....this is a beer to savour.
Be careful though, too many and you too may hear the words you've been dreading all along...
"I have you now..."

Emperor's Brewery - Interceptor
Can shared at tasting. Opaque black color, no head. Aroma and flavor are malts, cocos? Pecan nuts. Weirdness. Not my kind of beer. Yuk. Too sweet as well. 7-4,5-4,5-7-5

Gedeeld door Roelzie, geprobeerd met Benzai en Keukenman. Diep donkerbruin tot zwart bier. Het heeft een aroma van pecannoten en kokos. De smaak is vol gebrande mout en pecannoten.

Dark brown, opaque with a slight brown aftertaste that quickly fades. The aroma is of roasted malt, maple syrup, and pecans. The taste is moderately sweet, with a silky smooth, rich, oily, sweet maple syrup, nutty, dark chocolate, coffee candy, liquorice, and bitter alcohol aftertaste. Full-bodied, dense, with a subtle carbonation.

В целом жирно и ярко. Шоколад сильный, бочка прям мощная, немного сиропа. Но как мне кажется за такую цену слишком дорого.

On tap at the Bear, Paddington on 8th August 2025. Sepia black with almost no foam or lace. Intense chocolate, maple syrup and pecan nuts throughout drinking experience. An especially long finish. Thick, tarry mouthfeel and a full body.
