Can to becher glass.
Appearance: dark red to brown color with a two finger white foamy head which slid off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: dark bread, apple bready tones, caramel/toffee whiffs, subtle earthy sweetness, toast and some biscuits
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas semi-sweetly, sly aftertaste of biscuits, caramel/toffee and apple bread
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable, rolling smoothness across the tongue, finishes earthy and bready dry
Overall: nicely done bock I would love to have again.

Pour is a dark amber with a large foamy white head. Aroma is fresh baked toasted bread. Flavor is more fresh out of the oven baked bread with some dark fruit jam. This was a super flavorful beer. Lots of bready malt with a touch of sweet dark fruit.

On tap at Blind Tiger, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out bready malt, toasted nuts, and a touch of banana. Flavour is full of bready malt, toasted nuts, and estery notes. A bit too estery but generally well-calibrated. Decent.

16 oz can from City Brew Tours Hanukkah box, night 2, 12/26/24. Clear caramel color, beige head. Moderate, streaky lace. Caramel / toffee-forward sweet malts here. Earth, grains, and light spice. Flavorful, well made, malt forward, lager here. No complaints. 7/4/7/4/16

Chocolate malt and fresh hay aroma. Copper with light tan head. Moderately sweet chocolate caramel malt, and moderately bitter/astringent hay/grass flavor. Good body.

12 ounce can. Deep auburn color. Large frothy tan head. Mild toasted malt aroma. Flavor upfront is bittersweet toasted malt. A bit of caramel, but more dry than sweet. Maybe some black currants and dark bread. Slight minerality in the peppery hop finish. Enjoyable.
