Inspired by strong Belgian pale beers with bigger hop character, our first Belgian IPA balances the peppery, herbal and spicy hop punch of three traditional hop varieties against our the complex flavour profile of our house saison yeast.

Bottle at home in London - picked up at the brewery. Pours lightly hazy yellow-gold with a frothy, pure white head. The aroma holds crispy biscuits, lemon peel, some pithy grapefruit. Light-medium sweet flavour with more crispy biscuits, melon, peach, pale grains, light grassy bitterness. Light bodied with average carbonation. Fm great balance in the finish, with more lemon peel, biscuits, hay, dried wheat, pith, grass. Really lovely.

Bottle from the brewery and drunk at home. Hazy pale gold lasting white head. Hoppy aroma. Some Belgian yeast on the aroma. Pretty good I thought. Some good Belgian yeast, some decent bitterness. Yes fine. Lemon and grapefruit.
