Bottle. Pours a clear deep copper amber with a white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has grass and a sweet flora with cookie and grains backing. Flavor has a nice grass note with some bread and a touch of grain underlying.

Uit een flesje in Hof van Saksen. Amberkleur, beige schuim. Een zeer goede bitter in de smaak, steviger dan de bekende Belgische ambers. Lekker.

Bottled 330ml (from Schiphol)
Dark copper colour, medium-sized beige head and lace. Aromatic nose has caramel, fruits and flowery hops. Medium-bodied. Caramalt sweetness then pine, resin and some dark fruits in the flavour. American amber but has kind of ESB vibe. Well-brewed.

Tap at the brewpub. Amber with big beige head. Lots of caramel, light brown bread, light brown sugar, soft dank grassy hops, light roast, toffee, red currant candy. Over medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied. Quite tasty.

On tap at NHBF'18. Deep amber colour, white head. Aroma of caramel, some passion fruit, light hoppy. Flavour is light malty, caramel, hint of tobacco, light hoppy, fruity, some pine. Light bodied. Perhaps I had palate fatigue, but this was just a bit meh and watery.

Bottle from Mitra Bunnik, BB 2 2019. Almost clear amber color, medium rocky head. Aroma of caramel and toasted malts, slight piney hops and bit fruity yeast. Bit sweet fruity and caramel in taste, slight cookie, soft to medium bitterness. Well balanced. Good beer.
