Tap at The Head of Steam, Birmingham. Pours a deep black with tanned head. Aroma has a luscious rich chocolate and honeycomb with dark malt background. Quite roasty and sweet in the flavour in addition to notes from aroma with bitter chocolate and a slight burnt honeycomb. Medium to full bodied. Not holding back but I found it a bit of an overload. A bit like when I first listened to Captain Beefheart's Trout Mask Replica.

Keg draught at the Two-Tailed Lion, Leicester. Dark brown and slightly translucent. Getting fudge, vanilla, a little honeycomb and some marshmallow. Sweetctaste, lots of fudge and almost a bourbon note. Bitterness more in the second half of the finish. Blackberry, fudge and a touch of smoke in the finish. Certainly worth a try. A nice stout.

Sure, it is chocolate, not honeycomb, more like a solid low abv stout with a lot of pure chocolate flavour. Gollem amstelstraat

Can at Bourne. Black colour with a tan head. Aroma and taste are roasted malty and sweet coffee. Some caramel. Rich body.
