Cask half pint in the White Lion, Bridgnorth on 14th December 2024. Sweet and dark, the Maple syrup coming through loud and clear in both the aroma and taste. Interesting!

Cask at Ship Aground, Stafford (not listed on RateBeer). Pours a very dark reddish-brown with a medium-sized foamy cream head and good lacing. There’s maple and coffee in the aroma. Maple is the leading flavour in the mouth as well, supported cola and roasted malts plus traces of liquorice and vanilla. Finish is quite dry. Lovely jubbly ! The maple isn’t overdone.
