Taking inspiration from the long British brewing tradition and the modern innovations of the United States we brewed Big Organ with Chevalier Heritage malt, a staple of Victorian brewing, and Citra hops, the superstar that revolutionised modern beer.
|Think of Chevalier as the baseline providing depth and richness that echoes through every sip. Then, we turn up the volume with a quadruple dose of Citra, bringing in a chorus of bright grapefruit, orange pith, and tropical flavours from across the pond. Big Organ is sure to shake the rafters!

Cask at Pig's Ear. Keg at the brew bar. Near clear gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth light pale malts, a light creamy sweetness. Light cooling pine into that resinous piney opal fruit vibe that is very redolent of the flash in the pan hop that Kernel trialled a couple of times. Decent resinous and complex hop fruity array. Light finish. A tad sweet overall but liking the resinous hop fruits.

440ml can from 'The Beers of America' (thinking it was an American beer). Drank at home on 5th October 2024. Misty amber/orange body, wispy head. Citrussy nose and taste, fruity, piney and hoppy from start to finish. Boozy too!
