Cask at The Claret, Croydon. It pours clear pale gold with a decent white head. The nose is fresh, zesty citrus, particularly lemon, grass and hay. The taste is crisp, clean, lemon citrus throughout, light biscuit and some grassy/floral notes with a dry finish. Light - medium body and fine carbonation. Clean and thoroughly refreshing stuff. A surprisingly good low-boost golde.

Cask at the Claret, Addiscombe on 31st July 2015. Gold with thin off white foam and partial lacing. Caramel malt, citric hop, a little grass and fruit in aroma and liquid. Hints of nuttiness. This flavour balance continues in the finish. Zingy mouthfeel and lightish body afford easy drinking. Indeed the landlord commented this was the fastest moving ale of the five on tap!
