Saturday 13th April 2024, Bertie, Margie and I in Tamworth on a pub crawl. The Old Bank House is having a small Beer Festival, four hand-pulls (I think) and seven beers available direct from the cask. Half-pint, gravity pour from the cask. Golden body, clean and clear, white crown. Chinook hops doing their thing on a solid semi-sweet malty base. So piney bitter, earthy; makes a change from golden citrusy beers!
