30/3/2024. Can shared with ITFCDan. From Beautiful Beers, Bury St Edmunds. Pours clear reddish brown with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma is malted, chocolate, fruit, nut, toffee, slight smoked edge. Moderate sweetness, medium roasted bitterness. Medium body, average carbonation.

22nd March 2024 at home, mini-tasting with myself (third beer of five) . 355ml can into an old thistle shaped 'Gordon Finest Gold' glass. Looks fine, soft lightlt tanned foaming head on a clear mahogany body. Malty nose and taste, it's half Irish Red and half English Brown Ale in flavour, semi-sweet and malt first. Minimal hop action, but enough to help balance the malty sweetness.
