Keg @ Olde Rose & Crown, Walthamstow. Crisp golden lager with a thin head. There’s more nose than there is taste to this brew, but is palatable.

Floury, wheaty aroma. Taste is initially grainy and malty but there’s a bit of light citrus hoppiness. Decent enough.

Pure white bubbly head stayed well on a highly carbonated, hazy orange body. Tangy aroma of bitter hops, lemon zest & floral. Medium bodied, airy in the mouth - crisp and clean back. Bitter tasting with citrus & hops yet at the same there’s the traditional wheat & floral tastes of lager. Almost like a shandy. An interesting conception - and it works well.
