Bottle at home. Aroma is malt, rye, bready notes, herbal hops, touch of tea, caramel, bit earthy. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and bitter. Body is medium. Not much of an IPA, not crisp and hoppy at all. Fortunately, the nice and chewy rye malt partially redeems this beer.

Bottle shared at Chris and Ruth Pre-GBBF 2017 tasting - London. Cheers! Pours amber with a frothy, white head. Buttery nose, toffee. Medium sweet flavour with notes of toasted grains, a little metal, bready malts. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with nips of pine, sun-kissed malts, toffee. So so.

Butelka. Ciemnobursztynowe, w miarę klarowne. Piana dość gęsta, opada w miarę wolno i utrzymuje cienką warstewkę ładnie koronkując. Niestety w aromacie na pierwszym planie gotowane warzywa i mdła słodycz przejrzałej moreli. Potem dochodzi do tego żelazo. W tle trochę karmelu i inne owoce: winogrono i truskawka. W smaku niewiele lepiej: mdła słodycz i wyraźny alkohol (przy jedynie 5,5%!). Goryczka zauważalna, ale niezbyt przyjemna. Gładkość od żyta wyraźna. Wysycenie niskie do średniego. To najlepsza strona tego piwa. Ogólnie bardzo kiepsko.

Smutek.

Magnum, Mosaic, Kohato and Motueka hops. Hazy deep amber beer, small cream colour head. Palate is smooth, fairly dry and has reasonable fine minerally carbonation. Light malts, some caramel and thin cream. Juicy ripe orange, light floralness. Mild hop spice. Tangy generic fruits before a light dry finish. Not bad, just a tad malt forward.
