The great ChrisO pre GBBF gathering. Almost clear amber beer, thin pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth with modest fine carbonation. Caramelly malts. Light floral mid. Dried fruits. Touch of paper on the light finish, Okay.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Clear copper with off white head. Malty, caramel aroma with bread and toffee. Taste is similar with some bitterness to it. Old chewing gum finish.

bottle at chriso pre gbbf 2016 shindig. clear amber lasting. brown malty bitter aroma. very malty but not very subtle. some pepper hop ok.

33cl bottle. Pours almost clear deep amber colour with a mid-sized most good lasting beige head. Aroma of riped fruits, red malt, caramel, mild bitter hops. Taste of red malt, nuts, caramel, mild bitter resinous hops.

Ravfarget klar med høyt beige skum. Lukter røde frukter, skog og lett brent karamell. Middel til fylde. Fruktig sødme, røde frukter, lett brent karamell, brunt sukker, lett bitterhet.

Flaska från SB. Bärnstensfärgad klar med krämig bestånde ljusbeige skum. Doft av rostade nötter, rågbröd, blombukett, aningen mineraler, lingonsylt. Doften ligger nära en klassisk bitter. Mjuk och rund i munnen, havrekakor, karamell, bröd, nötter, lite blommor, lätt beska. En riktigt bra tolkning av en klassisk brittisk bitter. Mycket gott.

330ml Bottle - Dark copper red in colour. Chocolate, raisins, coffee and some earthy notes in the aroma. Fruity, earthy and slightly roasted taste with an assertive bitterness and notes of chocolate, raisins and chestnuts plus some coffee. A bit too roasted to be a true bitter but an interesting contemporary interpretation nonetheless.
