Lukr at Charlton, 10/26/23. Clear, rich golden-maize. Creamy, white head, good retention. The most subtle/understated of the bunch (strata, Cascade, pink) by a good margin. Typical I7 black tea and leafy, gently woody notes are apparent and charming. Mineral, earth, honey and rich, biscuity barley round it out. Soft but with a good bit of graininess. Malty, dry, clean. Hops are earthy, lightly herbal, strongly tea-like. Gentle sugars mix with hops on the finish to produce gentle melon notes, light strawberry, perhaps. Wonderfully elegant and understated but malty and satisfying.
